Golden Compass

Today, I went to see a movie that Christians were boycotting. The Golden Compass lived up to its expectations of being anti-Christian, but then again I was always under this odd impression that when America was founded, we promoted the freedom of choice of religion. At an initial glance at the title, it would seem this movie was for kids, but it delivers a worthy message to adults. Summing up the plot’s rhetoric, the end message was that we all have a choice between blindly following someone else’s ideals or proactively leading our own lives by making our own choices.
